Formed in 2005, Here Come The Birds (HCTB) are an indie post-punk 5 piece band hailing from Newcastle, NSW.

Combining their own music style with influences such as Brand New, Gyroscope, Bloc Party and Muse, HCTB have impressed some major players in the music industry and are currently the Sony BMG media pick and Grand Finalists for Tooheys Extra Dry UncharTED for their new single Bravery and Defeat.

As a result, the Birds have chosen the song to be used as their first official video clip, and have teamed up with our own Jay Gunning as director and producer.

“We aim to make music that’s fun, catchy and hopefully appeals to a wide audience and thought that Jay and the team at CI Productions would be a great fit and show what we’re all about” said Dane of HCTB.

With experience in the industry and an enthusiastic creative team, CI Productions are currently enveloping themselves in everything HCTB to ensure a visually powerful package to compliment the sound of Bravery and Defeat.

The video is set to hit living rooms in coming weeks with the official video launch party in Newcastle on the 26th of July at the Cambridge Hotel.

In addition you can see HCTB play it out in the UncharTED Grand Final on MTV, Thursday 24th July from 7.00pm.
